Lakbay-Diwa Publishing, from the Filipino phrase meaning “Intellectual Exploration,” is a Philippine-based academic and literary publishing house dedicated to empowering educators, researchers, and writers. Founded by an educator who personally understood the challenges of publication during faculty ranking and promotion, Lakbay-Diwa was established to give Filipino authors an accessible, credible platform for scholarly and creative work.

We publish research articles, theses and dissertations, abstract compilations, innovations, and literary works. Our mission goes beyond publication; we aim to uplift Filipino scholarship, provide avenues for recognition, and ensure that every idea, every study, and every story is given the platform it deserves.

True to our tagline, “Wisdom in Every Page, Pride in Every Word”, each publication reflects academic integrity, creative excellence, and the richness of Filipino thought.

EDITORIAL GUIDELINES:

Lakbay-Diwa Publishing maintains high academic and ethical standards to ensure the quality and integrity of all published works. We accept manuscripts written in Filipino or English.

1.Scope of Publications. We publish a wide range of scholarly and creative works, including: Research articles, Theses and dissertations, Action research, Abstracts, Innovations and technical papers, Poems, essays, short stories, and other literary pieces. All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review in any other journal.

2. Peer Review Process. All scholarly manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review conducted by qualified evaluators. Reviewers assess: Originality, Content quality, Methodological soundness, Contribution to the field, Ethical adherence.

3. Publication Ethics. Lakbay-Diwa Publishing follows the ethical standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We strictly prohibit: Plagiarism, Data fabrication or falsification, Duplicate submissions, Any form of unethical research conduct.

4. Editorial and Production Process. All accepted manuscripts go through: Editing and proofreading, Technical review, Formatting and layout, DOI verification, ISSN validation through the National Library of the Philippines. The usual publication timeline is 5–7 days for online release.

5. Author Deliverables. Upon publication, authors will receive: PDF copy of the published article, International/National e-Certificate of Authorship & Publication, Editorial Board Member Certificate, Peer Review Result / QC Score Sheet, Certificate of Manuscript Evaluation, ISSN copy issued by the National Library of the Philippines, Official social media recognition.

6. Copyright Policy. Authors retain full copyright to their work. Lakbay-Diwa Publishing is granted permission to publish, archive, index, and disseminate the material in accordance with our indexing and archiving partnerships.

PEJ INDEXING STATEMENT: Lakbay-Diwa Publishing is officially connected with the Philippine E-Journals (PEJ). All published journal issues are submitted monthly to PEJ for indexing. Through PEJ, all articles become: Accessible to a national academic audience, Discoverable by researchers, librarians, and SUCs, Visible to international readers through integrated systems. PEJ indexing also enables Google Scholar visibility, increasing citation opportunities for authors.

INDEXING & ARCHIVING (Google Scholar, Zenodo, OpenAIRE):

To ensure long-term preservation and wide dissemination, Lakbay-Diwa journals are archived and indexed through the following platforms:

1. Google Scholar- Through PEJ integration, all articles become automatically discoverable in Google Scholar, enhancing global visibility and citation potential.

2. Zenodo (CERN & OpenAIRE)- We deposit journal issues into Zenodo, a European open-access repository that provides: Permanent archiving, Citable repository links, Additional DOI assignment (if needed), Global accessibility.

3. OpenAIRE- Our publications are also shared through OpenAIRE, ensuring: International academic indexing, Inclusion in global research networks, Enhanced discoverability.
